What's On in the City?
From Monday to Friday, 6-10 August from 11am to 2pm, Homeless Healthcare volunteers will be setting up their mobile soup kitchen in Heritage Square to sell bowls of hearty and delicious, gourmet soup made and generously donated by some of your favourite Brookfield Place cafes and restaurants.
Each day a different venue will be featured and the bowls of soup – accompanied by a fresh, crusty roll – will be available for you to purchase for only $10 with all profits going towards Homeless Healthcare and the work they do providing much needed healthcare services to Perth’s homeless and marginally housed.
There will also be complimentary recipe cards for you to collect so you can recreate the deliciousness for yourself at home.
The menu for the week is as follows:
- Monday – Pea and Ham (from Basilica)
- Tuesday – Tom Kha Gai (from The Apply Daily Bar and Eating House)
- Wednesday – Celeriac and Truffle (from Churchill Bar and Restaurant)
- Thursday – Minestra Mariatata (from Gazette)
- Friday – Roast Garlic and Potato (from The Heritage Wine Bar)
- Daily – Vegan and Gluten free option (from Primal Pantry)
