Australian team wins first medal at 12th World Wushu Championships
Hawaiian congratulates the WA Chin Woo Athletic Association (WACW) for winning Australia’s first ever medal at the 12th World Wushu Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this year.
Wushu is otherwise known as Chinese Kung Fu and is China’s national sport and is recognised by the International Olympic Committee.
A representative of the Taolu Team, Elizabeth Lim, earned Australia’s first medal at the event, a bronze! The team also placed 6th, 7th and 10th.
