'The Story of Asian Couture' Opening Night

Claremont Quarter will play host to a breathtaking runway show by one of Asia's top couturiers Frederick Lee as part of an exclusive exhibition opening called 'The Story of Asian Couture' on 21 September.

Lee along with coveted Asian couturiers Michael Cinco and Sebastian Gunawan are in Perth thanks to Hawaiian as part of the 2014 Telstra Perth Fashion Festival (TPFF).

Apart from the intimate runway show, the exhibition will feature spectacular couture gowns by Cinco, Gunawan and Lee - the talented trio are famous for dressing celebrities such as Sofia Vergara, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé and are well known for bringing theatre to the catwalk.

The opening will also be attended by FIDé Fashion Week’s President Frank Cintamani and an international media entourage including French fashion blogger Diane Pernet and New York fashion writer Robb Young.

This is your chance to get up close with the couturiers and their designs after their stunning TPFF opening night show ‘International Runway – Beyond Imagination’ with local designer Alvin Fernandez from Ae'lkemi.
