Record breaking Hawaiian Ride for Youth
The Hawaiian Ride for Youth may be over for another year but impact that the record breaking $2.3 million raised this year will have on the youths in our community will be felt for many years to come.
With 75% of mental illness starting before the age of 25, the awareness and services that Youth Focus provide are vital. Youth Focus supported some 2,000 youths this past year, but with one in four youths living with a mental disorder, the funds raised are imperative to ensure more have access to Youth Focus' services.
We thank the riders for their dedication not only for riding the gruelling 700kms from Albany to Perth but for unquestionable commitment over the last 6 months during early morning training sessions, to the families supporting each rider, people who donated and to Youth Focus for being our long term partner.
