Building Better Teams Corporate Training Workshop

The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts' engagement with the community is well known and widely celebrated.

WAAPA invites you to participate in the inaugural Building Better Teams Corporate Training workshop led by Glenn Hall.

WAAPA Corporate Training's team building module applies improvisational techniques to bring out the best in people, and the best in teams. Teams will learn to use the technique of improvisation to identify each others¹ traits, learn to work with, and build upon them to function effectively, then understand and connect with each other to perform at an elite level. This team building session focuses on strengthening the key components of team: confidence, collaboration and connection.

For more than a decade Glenn has applied his improvisation skills to the business world, providing training in Leadership, Teamwork and Resilience drawing on his improv philosophy of The Hive of Nine Be¹s. He has developed and co-designed programs for a diverse range of clients including St John of God Hospital, Department of Child Protection, Western Power and Newmont Mining. He also gained valuable corporate governance experience as a board member for Barking Gecko Theatre Company. Glenn has been employed by Edith Cowan University for the past 15 years to teach Improvisation and Acting at the prestigious WA Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). He has also been engaged by WAAPA to provide collaborative interpersonal communication and teambuilding coaching for the Production and Design and Arts Management departments.  He is a senior tutor with the WAAPA Corporate Training team.
