Transcendental Voices to Soar at St Mary¹s Cathedral

Thanks to Hawaiian's partner WAPAA, you can experience choral music that will inspire and uplift directed by one of Australia’s most dynamic choral conductors.

In the sumptuous acoustic of St Mary’s Cathedral, Brett Weymark leads WAAPA’s vocal students and classical musicians in a performance of Durufle’s timeless Requiem, César Franck’s Panis Angelicus and John Rutter’s exhilarating Gloria.

Fresh from working with the Hong Kong Philharmonic, artists such as Stuart Skelton and Cheryl Barker and working on repertoire from Dido and Aeneas and King Kong - the musical to The Flying Dutchman and Verdi’s Requiem, Brett Weymark returns again to Perth to work with the wonderful music students at WAAPA, but this time to concentrate on something central to his work, choral music.

Weymark encourages lovers of choral music to see this concert, "it is a beautiful program that I am sure the students will enjoy as much as the audience willfind both uplifting and extremely moving."
