Hawaiian Giving Box Christmas appeal smashes records for donations.
A big thank you to our shoppers, tenants, local schools, members of the community and staff.
The Hawaiian Giving Box campaign has been an outstanding success, smashing last year’s results.
Hawaiian once again joined forces with Foodbank WA and Anglicare WA to collect food, clothes and toys to help support families in need at this time of year.
Giving Boxes were placed at major Hawaiian shopping centres, office buildings and local primary schools, collecting the following:
- 21,259 meals - 13,808 more than last year
- 9,013 gifts – 1,453 more than last year
- 16 local primary schools, involving 3,500 students collected 1.5 tonnes of food, toys and other items
The campaign kicked off in late November and finished on Saturday, 6 January.
