Hawaiian and Brookfield Properties along with Myall Wellbeing will be providing you with Mindful Movement, Breath Practise and wellness workshops designed to help guide you through techniques and concepts that will help you to connect with your mind and body, supporting physical, emotional and mental stress and pain management. 

Whether you can only attend one workshop or all four - we can’t wait to see you there. Walk in's welcome - however, if you can RSVP in advance that would be helpful for catering/seating purposes. Please RSVP to Emily. 

Your Instructors

Brett Young, Yoga and Meditation Instructor

Brett studied yoga, meditation, and coaching and now as a Mindfulness Coach pursues his desire to share this knowledge with others. Brett cultivates a sense of calm in each of his sessions. Normalising discussions around mental health, Brett brings energy, enthusiasm, and emotion to his classes, helping his students be present in the room. 

Shane Young, Yoga, Breathwork and Pilates Instructor

Shane is a Yoga, Pilates and movement and breath coach and has taught internationally for almost 10 years.  Shane incorporates functional movement, body awareness and strength and conditioning into his Pilates and yoga classes and most recently incorporating the healing benefits of breath to everything he does. Grounded in a very practical and wholistic view of health, Shane wants to help people organise their bodies with movement and breath so that they can live, breath and move better in their day to day.

Christie Otto, Yoga and Pilates Instructor

Christie is a qualified Physiotherapist, Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor and Yoga teacher with a passion for holistic wellness who moved to Perth from South Africa 4 years ago with her husband and two young boys.  With all her experience as a Physio, a teacher and a mother, Christie is able to impart her knowledge and passion about the interconnectedness of mind, body and breath in ways that are relatable and possible for participants to access.

Join us:

  • Weekly, each Tuesday from the 23 August - 13 September 2022 
    • 23rd, 30th, 6th, 13th  
  • From 12.15pm - 1.15pm; sessions will run for 60 minutes
  • At 235SGT Conference Room (Next to the concierge desk).
  • A light lunch will be provided. 
  • Please bring a notepad and pen to take notes!

  • Tuesday 23rd August - “Mindful Spinal Reset” movement session with Brett Young
  • Tuesday 30th August - “Mindful Meditation for Stress Management” workshop with Brett Young
  • Tuesday 6th September - "Healthy Spine for Back Pain Management” with Christie Otto
  • Tuesday 13th September - “Breath Practise for Optimal Health and Wellbeing” workshop with Shane Collard

During these sessions you will learn how to use mindful movement and breath to settle into a conscious meditative state and also to use breath to adjust how you feel. You will learn and practice different types of meditation and movement to help you to create your own feeling of optimal wellbeing being centred, positive and energised.
