Ask 'are you ok?' on Hawaiian and Brookfield Properties // Thursday 8 September R U OK? DAY

Ask R U OK? (No qualifications needed), you already have what it takes to support family, friends and colleagues.

A conversation could change a life, so why not have a chat on Hawaiian and Brookfield Properties.

On Thursday 8 September Hawaiian and Brookfield Properties encourages you to stop and have the chat. We will be providing free coffees at Cleopatra By Nero (235 SGT Lobby) on Thursday 8 September (exclusive, T&C's Apply).

Simply redeem your free coffee by presenting your R U OK? Day Voucher to staff. Vouchers will be delivered to your tenancy on the 7-8 September.

'Ask R U OK? No qualifications needed’ comes in response to new research which found four in ten Australians feel asking someone ‘are you OK?’ is a conversation better had with an expert.

For example, if you feel qualified to second guess the referee from the comfort of your armchair, you can ask a mate R U OK? No qualifications needed. If you feel qualified to give fashion advice while lounging in your old ‘trackies’, you can ask your friend R U OK? No qualifications needed, or, if you feel qualified to assemble a flat pack desk straight out of the box without the instructions, you can ask your colleague R U OK? No qualifications needed.

We want everyone to know that you already have what it takes to support family, friends and colleagues and that you don’t need to be an expert to have an R U OK? conversation.

Don’t wait until someone’s visibly distressed; make a moment meaningful today and ask “are you OK?”. Listening and giving someone your time might be just what they need to help them through a difficult period.

A conversation could change a life. If you need immediate crisis or emotional support you can contact Lifeline on 13 11 14. R U OK? is a national charity dedicated to inspiring all of us to have regular, meaningful conversations to support anyone struggling with life’s ups and downs.
